Flying Fish Point State School has a reputation for its happy and well-behaved children and a cohesive staff. This is supported by feedback from parents and the Parent, Student and Staff Opinion Surveys.
Our supportive school environment is based on respect which is actively modelled and taught by the staff. The children take responsibility for their actions and reflect on the implications their actions have on others – both negative and positive.
We take a proactive approach to the management of student behaviour. The success of this is reflected in the number of School Disciplinary Absences we have had in the last few years. The consistent manner in which the staff embraces and enforces the behaviour management policy is the predominant reason for its success.
The school fosters a warm family environment. With an enrolment of over 40 students the staff and students know each other very well.
We aim to provide a wonderful environment where students can reach their potential.
I invite you to walk through our school and meet our wonderful staff.
